A safer method for moving rocks is to fabricate a sled - maybe 4X4 with 6'' sides. Nudge the rock onto the sled and then pull with tractor. If done right, this is significantly safer.

Yep, we call it a stone boat. It is a flat 1/2" inch iron sheet 5x4 ft. One end is bent up like a sled with 2x4s laid flat on the sides, with an attached chain. If the loader can't lift it, roll it on the boat.
