Thanks for your help!

Craftsman 4000 riding lawn tractor: Put in a new battery and it was starting just fine. I just did a tune-up – new filters and spark plugs – and now it won't start.

I realized that I forgot to clamp the fuel lines, so I think I need to prime the fuel lines now.

Any hints on how to do this?

Thanks again,
Al

Didn’t watch this, but maybe it might help…..

Welcome Al. If the lines are good, no need to prime. You could drop the line before the fuel pump and with very light pressure bring some fuel through to the pump lessening the amount of cranking. Or a burst of carb spray into the carb before you crank to get it to run up.

Thanks @seville009 and @tomplum.

Watched the video and going to try your suggestion for bringing fuel through to the pump. I'll update if anything works!

Turns out the starter flywheel was jammed! Blew air into the gas tank to get the gas into the fuel filter.
Started up now. Yay!!!

Thanks again for your helpful suggestions,
Al
