Rebuild kit for hydralic pump Chevy C65 dump

I have a 1973 C65 Chevy Dump Truck, need to find a place to get a rebuild kit for the pump for the dump bed. And a kit for the dump cylinder. It leaks oil past the cylinder, then when you raise it, it will blow some oil out of vent on cylinder. Only has one hydralic line on cylinder.

Sir I would fix the cylerder first. Then the pump might work right. Just a try

The easiest way is to locate a hydraulic repair shop. They will have or can get any pieces you need.
Most heavy duty pump rebuilds are beyond diy unless you have access to a surface grinder to set clearances.
Dont know where your located but if you were in KY I would recommend that you contact Hydraulic Specialist in Somerset KY.

Alan really good info a pump is no job for an amateur. And a cylinder that size would have to go to a shop if it were mine. And if he fixes that cylinder there is a good chance his pump is good because it’s allowing air into the system. My take and I hope him a lot of fun doing it, as I would truely enjoy it. I even call upon my wife to help me in the tight spots

Yeah. In a younger life I worked at the hydraulic shop rebuilding components. Some things can be a fun diy project. But others no.

You need to find a good local hydraulic shop and tear down the cylinder and let them match up the seals or let them rebuild it. Ordering seals for a 50 year old part that isn’t even branded is almost impossible.
