I am starting up a small market garden, about 4-5 acres in Vermont. I need a small tractor for cultivation, but most of the good ones are no longer made (AC G, Farmall Cub, Tuff-Bilt,etc.). I recently found on the web information about the Saukville tractor, which is billed as the "new" AC G. Anyone have any experience with this tractor or any thoughts?

Good morning Vermonter.
I have no information on these new tractors.
True the older ones are no longer made, but if you visit your local dealerships ask them to put the word out of your interest, also check the classify papers you can still find these older tractor for sale here in the northeast.
By the sounds a Farmall A or Super A & John Deere M would be almost idea for your use.
Take Care over there in Vermont.

I have no personal experience with Saukville, but I have observed many Allis Chalmers Gs working in melon fields many years ago. They were the tractor of choice for commercial melon growers. The Saukville website (www.Saukvilletractor.com) indicates there is a dealer rep in your area. Might be worthwhile checking it out.
