Steiner 430 Max Diesel Hydraulic Issue

Joshlee, I love my power-trac, much better than my old steiner. I got my steiner stuck in the snow more times than I wish. My power-trac just floats over the same spots my steiner got stuck in due to its flat underside. For me my power-trac is more versatile for what I use it for.

Maybe im wrong but in looking at both a PT and Steiner..they dont seem to be in the same category...PT is more like a tractor isn't it..also hydro drive pto, as opposed to belt..just saying, also a PT doesn't look nearly as nimble and has a much higher psi contact patch. .just different machines for different jobs..

They are awesome machines. You know how those pivot pins on the Steiner roll around when the front lift is working; my thought is that those holes on the mount/axel will get wore from all of the movement from the pins. Obviously there are no grease fittings either. The PT 425 has a bolt with a nylon lock nut, if I remember right? If so, does that roll around at all when you lift a heavy load?
