While mowing tractor switched to low range. Lost lights on Hi/Low range switch on console, cruise light switch will activate when depressed, will not stay on when released. Hi/Low selector on joy stick also fails to operate. Ideas?

Tim, since you lost both the cruise and Rabbit/Turtle functions, I think you should check fuse #5. Take out the two Phillips-head screws on your instrument panel and carefully lift it out of the dash. On the left below the panel is your fuse block. It'll be covered with dust probably. Count from the left and pull the 5th fuse. If you fuse continues to blow, you may have a problem with your cruise control magnet being shorted or some other wire shorted. The cruise magnets have some history of failing. Most times they open rather than short out, but you just never know.

If you had just lost the Rabbit/Turtle function, I'd tell you to look for a loose wire going to the hi/low solenoid under the LEFT-side operator's platform, but both speed shift and cruise points to the fuse as the problem.
