does anyone use a 3 pt tiller on the 2810 HST and if so what size is it. will it handle a 60 inch tiller - the 2810 only has approx. 22 hp at the pto will that be enough, what about using a rotary cutter of 60 inches.

I would say a 60" tiller and 60" brush mower should work OK.
Thats what I ran on my JD 850 with 22 PTO HP and it worked fine..

It should run the 60" fine, we generally put a 56" behind the 2810HST, only because that happens to be a size we carry and we don't carry a 60". It handles the 56" with no problems. HST is a great transmission for tilling.

I have the 2810HST and a 60" First Choice tiller, it works really well. The width w/ R-4's is about 64", so I still have to offset the tiller a little. Power is not an issue in my soil and you can go as slow as you need with the HST.

I've sold and operated with no problems 2310's with a 62" tiller.

Justin, I can't comment on a tiller but as far as a rotary cutter goes, I wanted it to at least be the width of my rear tires. You might want to be able to cut up against fences and such. I have a 72" cutter and the 2810HST has no problems with it. I would, however, be interested to know if a 72" tiller would do or maybe a 5 1/2' width if available would seem to be a good fit.
