John, neither I nor the Fla dealer had any idea that our two states had a reciprocal arrangement on taxes until the deal actually went to the busines office for the paper work. I proposed that we split the tax, and he told me that if I could get confirmation that no such arrangement between Maine and Florida exists, he'd give me the rest of the tax back.
