The pedals on my TZ were offset from each other when I got the tractor, the reverse was about two inches closer to the deck than was the forward pedal.
The service manual states
I made this adjustment but now the tractor is much slower in forward and reverse is much quicker, almost too quick.
So is the service manual incorrect? How does one know what is the appropriate amount of travel? I don't want the pedals pushing / pulling on the hydro unit control arm beyond its limits.
The service manual states
The HST pedals should be at the same angle to operator deck and parallel with each other when adjusted properly.
