We tried a similar system, fluid was 160$ for 20 l and the tank needed to be heated for it to work, so we were constantly topping up the fluid. Didn't clean the nasty stuff worth a dam either and now we're back to solvent based tanks.

Outdoors. 55 gallon steel drum, cut in half length wise. Stick the part in it, and dribble gasoline on it and use a brush to clean it off. Drain the dirty fuel off into a container and use it to start your brush fires, or filter it and burn it in your shop heater, or ratty old lawn mower.
