Since lubing the FEL and BH are ongoing maintenance, any grease that is gooey and can be pressed into the fittings will work. Some grease may last longer in front end joints than others, but the grease in the FEL and BH joints gets (or should get) replaced often enough that you do not need the "best" or "most expensive" grease ... you just need to do it often and throughly.

We tend to use whatever gets damaged at the NAPA where my brother works :)

If you have a Chevron distributor close by, try some Delo Grease. Wheel bearing approved, good on any chassis point of virtually any vehicle. No Chevron guy around?, go to a Mobil distributor. Get some Mobilgrease XHP 222.
Either of these are reasonable in a 10 pack, you're good to go for a long time.

The Valvoline grease is what I use on all my vehicles and my tractor. It's worked great for me.

for joints that get greased alot ( or should ).. I use the tsc cheapy 1.90 black molly grease. since I am greasing things each use.. it's not so hard on the wallet at less than 23$ a CASE.
