Tire changing lubricants

was it some sort of lemon cle3aner type soap?
I researched this a little. Many dish soaps now contain anti-bacterial ingredients, even the generic stuff I have now. Some of those ingredients include organic chemicals made from chlorine molecules. If left in contact with metal, that's what causes the corrosion. Doubtful it would cause a lot of damage on a rim, but it would defeat the purpose of easy removal if the rim and tire were stuck together with a thin layer of rust.

Absolutely. Easy to get and reasonably priced. It seems foolish not to have a gallon of tire lube on the shelf.
