Thinking about putting a 6 ft bush hog on front of my A series Toolcat . Any thoughts, opinions or experiences?

60" would work a little better on there, but either will work. You have the hydraulic capacity to run it, what you will find is the little weak to handle that heavy of load that far out in front. Biggest problem would be if you raised and rolled it down to sharpen or replace blades, there isn't enough tilt/bucket roll force to bring it back up level. lower the boom and roll back at same time will get it back to level.
If you do not have the extra debris screen over the radiator, get one. Without it grass & weed clippings lodge in radiator quickly. With the debris screen will plug up but it is much easier to clean off than cleaning between radiator fins.

Went with the 6 ft. Just spent 2 hours cutting around ponds, gates and fences. SSDoxie, you were right in all aspects. Handled well, but won't set any land speed records. Perfect to finish up were you can't get in with the 15 ft batwing.

We need an update now that you have had it awhile. Is it the Bobcat brand Brushcat?
Does it operate with the boom in float?
Have you cut any trees over 2"?
Have you had any overheating problems?
Thanks.
