5610D with torn right front CV boot. Does anybody know if it takes special tools for this repair. Does anybody have the service manual pages that cover this repair. Thank you.

I've got the same issue on a Cub Cadet UTV. It looks like a real hassle to replace these things. I found a site that sells replacement boots that are made to go "around", so you don't have to pull everything apart. They did not respond to an email inquiry .... so don't know what to think.

Can't help on a Toolcat but done Polaris Rangers several times, fairly simple and takes about 2 hours.

I have used the "go around type on several high mileage cars.
It certainly was far easier than putting a one piece one on.
The ones I used had a cut down the length of the boot with a built up area on each side of the cut.
There were a series of small bolts that held the two halves together.
If you have been driving with a torn boot, getting the dirt and water out is critical and this can only be done by doing the complete job.

I have replaced the boot on my 2011 5600. No special tools required. The boot from Bobcat comes with a special grease.
Best of luck!

Tearing a boot and replacing it is a pain. The boot clamp is of a design that relies a special tool. I just tore another and called the dealer the order the part. He said you can’t get just the boot anymore but have to buy the complete axle assembly - $$$
