My brother just bought a Toro GTS 4-stroke self-propeled walk behind used mower of Craigslist for $75. He checked it out before he bought it and it seemed to run great but the self propeled drive was kind of come and go and the adjustment was as tight as it goes. Well he moved his front lawn 1100sq ft. with it and it did alright. When he went to go do the back yard the belt as well. Shoudl he just replaceblades would not engage?? Are the blades driven off a belt as well? Should he just replace both belts becasue of there un know life.:confused:

My brother seems to think that cable used to engage streatched to much for the unit to engage the blades correctly. The blade brake works but chatters when the bail is released and is disengaging Ok as well. Also the Suzuki OHV 4-stroke engine on it has started to leak gas from the carb bowl. What type of carbs did these '97-'98 Toro 4-stroke OHV Suzuki engines have?:confused:

The mower is a 21" self-propeled Model # on the deck is 26622 and the serial # is 9007255.

Well the cable got the BBC working but now the whole carb is leaking like a seive!! Are the Mikini carbs on these Suzuki's prone for this?:mad:
