The wife and I came up with an answer that makes everyone happy. She is going to stay here next weekend and drive the truck and trailer while I go to the tournament with my son. She agreed that I should not loan her the trailer after the last time and also agreed that she did not trust the boyfriend either. This seemed to be the best solution for everyone except I believe my step daughter is not happy with it but she will have to get over it. All I care is the wife is happy with it and I have to stay in the same house with her.

Good for you and way to go WIFE!

Best possible solution short of the earth opening up and swallowing the boyfriend which would solve two problems, one of which would be delaying the move till you are available.

Sounds like an excellent solution.. You have to live with your wife. Peace in the family goes a long way. So does forgiveness. There are several of my friends and family that I would loan my tractor or trailer to or even my chipper or chainsaws. But those are folks that have shown they respect others property.

Sounds like a good, common sense solution, for the two of you. Way to go!

Great end result imo.

Sounds like you have a wonderful wife.

If the step daughter is not happy with that, tuff is the first word that comes to mind.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I have a stepson that is trying to be a pain. We're partly to blame, though. We mistakenly let him go live with his biological fool several years ago, and now anytime he doesn't get his way with us(me), he takes it out on his mother and doesn't come to visit. It breaks her heart.
