Nonstick for dump trailer

I'm not exactly sure of the measurements of my dump bed, but you can get an idea of it's size from the attached picture. I went up about halfway on the sides and worked my way back to where my ladder was. I have about a quarter gallon left over and I put it on pretty thick. I didn't know how much I would need, or I would have gone all the way up the sides. Of course, it doesn't really stick on the sides, so I guess it doesn't really matter. My problems started in the corners and then worked it's way out to the middle.

For prep, I hosed and scrubed the bed clean. No soap or chemicals, though I'm not sure if that's an issue or not. I didn't use any, so I don't know if you can or shouldn't. I let it dry out, then just painted it on over the rust and the metal.

It was a simple process, but the paint is very sticky and does a spiderweb type thing. It will get all over you and be very, very dificult to get off.

I just dumped some out onto my bed and used a half sized paint roller to spread it out. Then I through the roller away when I was done.

I have heard that bedlinner spray in works (like LineX, Rinno) I was told they need to leave the rubber additive out, for a smoother finish

I'm interested in knowing how this product worked for every one on the mower deck. I have a 60" commercial mower and mow about 5 acres around my house. I have to keep the deck clean or I get a stripe on every pass, so I clean it often. If this works well I'll do my mower deck and skid steer bucket.

If you know you are going to be trying to dump really sticky stuff, you can line your dump bed with news paper held on with masking tape. You can use butcher paper or whatever is cheap. Visqueen and such plastic can be a hassle as it will be in yoiur dumped load. Note when you dump your impromptu liner will most likely end up partially buried so biodegradable or otherwise non interfering stuff like paper or cardboard are often a good choice.

Even some straw or grass trimmings can help,especially in those "problem areas" that never seem to dump cleanly.
