Default Re: truck upgrade

Thanks for the info the bigger trucks I stopped by the international dealer yesterday & I was very surprised how cheap a day cab truck was & the weight they would haul. & yes I have a CDL for our Mack dump but it don't haul heavy loads very well & I would not trust it more than a 60miles from the farm as the tow bill would be more than the truck is worth to get it home. My perfect truck would be a Crewcab international with air ride & air brakes about 30-40k GVW but they seem a little pricey so I may just keep the old CCcab ford & find day cab truck. The international dealer knows me & said he was suprised I had not been in sooner. He did have a 06 F650 set up as a moblie home puller with gooseneck & 4wd it looks short & tough.

You're gettin smarter!
Now maybe you can find a nice crew cab 4700/4900 with a DT466/530 or an FL60/70with at least 250HP and you'll be set. There's dozens of them out there for less than a little dinky F-450
You won't believe how cheap they are to buy & run and how long they go compared to a light truck.
