| Re: Beater Trucks. Lets see em! 1992 mazda 2600i the best woods truck ever she will hold and haul 1/2 cord of green maple , for corner air and coil over loads tire chains and pushes an eight foot plow , this is THE nock around truck she has 60,000 mikes thats 60
I toyed with the Idea or replacing it , but the whole truck cost me 1500 to buy/build and you wouldnt believe the work I have done with it keep your big trucks , for the woods I barely need a path let alone a road. |

But I have been thinking about getting another if I decide to keep my truck I have now. I am really wanting a 70-76 Chevy Blazer, but I am not sure yet.
So lets see pics of everones beater/knockaround/farm truck.
Here is the ol' chevy after a particular muddy day at the hunting land, and the wife all dressed up. lol
This truck had 249,000 miles on it when I sold it. | Heck with the truck, she is a cutie! I am moving to Alabama.

Not many get that opportunity ?

| Re: Beater Trucks. Lets see em! Here's mine- I always wanted to do a dump conversion, and so did this one right after i bought it. You'll note a bunch of rust-she was a plow truck for her whole life- a '93 I purchased without the plow in 2002. Started having trouble passing emissions tests, and the torque converter would lock up sometimes when shifting into reverse, stalling the truck like you dumped the clutch. I got tired of replacing rotted brake and tranny cooling lines, but when the spare tire fell off that was the last straw.
I miss having the beater, but love having a new, reliable, comfortable truck.
