Anyone ever use an open deck car trailer for hauling a tractor? Like this:

This type of trailer is lighter than the wood deck utility trailer and would tow easier with my vehicle.

I havent but others probably have, but the issue would be the inside track/tire width of the tractor vs the car and sitting solidly on the ramps.

I Have, tires on my M-F 2300 just don't quite fall into the ramps, just chain it down, no worries.

I towed my 43 hp Kubota with a loader, weighing total about 4700 on a U haul car trailer, which likes about the same as your pic. It worked great for me.

Problem with that type is its a single purpose trailer. Do yourself a favor and get a flat wood deck.

I use mine to haul tractors, trucks, cars, firewood, lumber, mulch, ect.

I think your B3200 would not go on the runners. My Bobcat barely fit on my car trailer. Why not get a 7k equipment trailer?

That trailer won't do well with a load of mulch or sand:)

I have. I hired a car trailer to tow the tractor a couple of hundred miles. The only problem was that the ramps were a little far apart for the wheelbase of my relatively small tractor. I got it on, but going up and down was a little uncomfortable. So if you intend to buy or hire one, check the ramp spacing. Apart from that, I had no problem.

I'm trying to keep the GVW as low as possible. My vehicle will tow 5000 lbs. Tractor/loader/backhoe weighs in at around 3200 lbs according to Kubota specs. That leaves me 1800 lbs for a trailer. I don't want to buy a new vehicle for the few times a year that I'm going to move the tractor. I have a 10' flatbed utility that I can haul just the tractor if I drop the FEL and BH, but I've got some work to do at my camp 270 miles away. I may take a look at the Uhaul car trailers and see if the tractor will fit on one of those. Although, I did see that the trailer weight on some of the flatbed utility trailers were around 1600 lbs for the empty trailer, that may end up being an option. I'm figuring either a 16' or 18' trailer.
