I would take that over anything made till you get to new one's and would bet at 200,000 miles this 2001 will cost less to keep on the road.
I going to say 32,000 will be the selling price and I if I was you I would not have put it on the internet until it sold.

I'm just curious are you putting stock transmissions back in. I would have to look at a good heavy duty aftermarket auto after the second transmission failure. It would be cheaper to put a good aftermarket in don't you think? I do have to say though not my expertise I'm a manual transmission guy my 2012 2500 dodge has the G56 6 speed.

The first two were covered under my extended warranty. The third one was an emergency, got a have it over the weekend rebuild. The current one was another over the weekend rebuild, but the guy only works on Ford trucks and uses a lot of aftermarket parts and billet torque convertors. I figure if he gives a 3-year, unlimited mileage warranty (And he knew upfront that I tow everyday) that he's probably got them down pretty good.

Well I tried for over an hour to post a reply Saturday night. But dial up at home...can read but will not load the reply screen.

But I have good news! You are looking at the owner of a 2002 F250 powerstroke 4x4 with 60,000 miles!!!

Oh...the 2001 went for $25,500.00. The opening bid was 15k. It was between 2-4 people until the end. I had talked to the guy that won the bid earlier and he said he was not walking out without that truck. He also bought ALL the farm equipment.

Most things went high, just as I thought they would, S&W 357 revolver $575.00. I stayed until the farm equipment was auctioned. It went high considering the condition.

Believe me, if I thought I had a chance in **** of getting this truck or was willing to shell out 25-30k no one would have heard about this auction until it was over!!:laughing:

Typical of any auction I have been to. I went once for a Taylor Way 6' 3point backhoe. They are built 4 hours from my house and sell new at the factory for $3800. On dealer's lots they fetch close to $5000.

Anyway this one was well worn and sold for $3950. I bid upto $2450 and was out. Everything went for just about the cost of new.

Well, the only thing I picked up was a cup of coffee:D

I read the date wrong and for some reason it i thought it said the 9th ,My mistake but I have always been amazed when people get caught up in the action and over bid by 25-40 % of real value
