Re: Thieves love those trailer hitches!
I only live about 45 mins from there, I guess I'll have to watch out when I am in the area.

Re: Thieves love those trailer hitches!
Reading this thread made me flash back to about Y2K, I was camping at a state park in northern Michigan, and one night about a dozen campers had their WD hitch bars removed from their tow vehicles overnight, most of them were parked in an area that backed up to the woods and only secured their hitch bars with a simple pull pin. I was in the area but had secured my hitch bar with a dogbone type lock, which wasn't really that good as those can be easily cut through but it was enough to deter the crooks. After that incident I always removed and stored my hitch bar when not using it. Still do that, even with my $30 Class 2 bar.
Always be willing to admit your shortcomings, there is no shame in not knowing how to do something. The shame is in NOT admitting you don't know how to do it.
If you have a small truck, limit yourself to small loads, if you want to carry the big stuff, get a big truck.
Never be ashamed of making a mistake. The only people who never (bleep) up are people who never try to do something new.
