We have a guy here that plows snow with a Hummer. Seems crazy to me.
And yet I bet I move more snow with my Yamaha Rhino!

Nice rig but he does some big lots. I saw him doing a Menards lot last week. It has to be 200 yards by 400 yards. Just seems crazy to use a Hummer. A 3/4 ton pickup seems like a more economical way to go. Beater at that.

I would love to have a UTV or even a 4x4 mini truck with a plow like a little Mitsubishi. Right now I can't bring myself to put a plow on either one if my trucks. Did it twice and its a no win situation. I have my 7.5' Meyer on my FEL in place of the bucket and use the rear remotes to control angle. That and the 7' Woods rear grader does a great job. Most I have tackled was 27" we got in a 24 hour period.

Well be plowing tomorrow for sure. 10" on its way.

I have the rear mounted snowblower on the Kioti for the big stuff but taking 2 hours for a 6" or less storm is a waste of time. The Rhino flies through the snow with that 72" plow and is amazingly strong pushing the wet stuff, 4x4 with diff lock in low gear and watch out!

What does it weigh?

My tractor has rears loaded plus cast wheel weights and 4 suitcase weights on the front bringing it to 5,600# with the plow and rear grader. The R1's make it just about unstopable. I have a rear diff lock but hardly ever use it. 4x4 gets the job done most of the time.

The Rhino is about 1,200 lbs plus 50lbs for the winch, 100lb plow and me at 180lbs. It certainly won't push back snow banks like the 4,500lb Kioti but does a great job this time of year where snowblowers throw more rocks than snow. Plus an 8 gallon tank of cheap 87 octane gas will go for weeks, I even thought about putting a tailgate sand spreader in the bed.

I could actually see a Hummer H2 being a decent plow vehicle, although I wouldn't want to do that to one of those...My wife's H3 goes like a billy goat and is very maneuverable and heavy...No major power, but it gives all it has.

Here's what I plow my driveway, the rightaway and they neighbors driveways with--The cabless RTV500 did a great job..The cabbed RTV1100 makes it fun (HVAC)...Will be using it tomorrow.

Very nice! What size plow?
I like that even fully angled my 72" plow covers 64" vs the 60" snowblower.

The 1100's plow is a 72" hydro power angle.

Reminds me of the Dodge RAM T-rex 6x6.

This was exactly my first thought as well!

I'm not sure an H2 would be that great, I have never driven one but it sure doesn't seem like the visibility is all that good.
