He probably used the ramps to drive the car up onto the trailer.
And, the rear wheels of the vehicle would be sitting somewhere over the steel frame extensions.
The vehicle would probably ride just fine, as long as it is tied down well.
I'd think he should have flags/lights on the ramp extensions though.
I've carried a car on far less.
