I need to build a small dump trailer. I'm thinking of 3 foot wide frame with 4 1/2' wide box over it. The box would be over the wheels which are 26 inch diameter. Will the center of gravity be too high?
Sure trac makes a trailer very similar to this but it's on smaller wheels. Unfortunately the smaller wheels cannot take brakes, which I really want.

This is for both on road and off road. The tires are the problem. The Suretrac has the small diameter wide tires, but they're so small that brakes won't fit. The smallest tires that will work with brakes are 6" larger diameter, but the same width, 205.

I could use something like that, except it can't have brakes.

Why can't it have brakes? couldn't it have surge brakes?

basically want to build this:
Sure Trac |
but on 26" tires instead of 20". so I can add brakes. I don't know if the center of gravity will be too high.

Can you make your bed sit in between the wheels but extend over the top of the like most ATV trailers?
Or put your wheels outside the bed?
Or use drop down axles?
