I chain as normal to the drawbar with the tiller up. Then lower it onto blocks and strap it down with one strap.

The blocks are always with me as I use them for wheel chocks on the trailer.

What dimensions are the blocks you are using?

I throw the strap over the lower 2 hitch arms and hook it forward so it pulls against the tires. I know that's not ideal, but it works.

With an implement attached and lowered onto the trailer, the implement is in the way of where the chain would run from a clevis on the drawbar to the stake pockets

So is this about chaining down a tractor to/on a trailer for transport with some sort of implement/attachment hooked on? If so, know wonder I didn't get it, I don't have a trailer, yet........

I wrap my 4 chains around the axles just inside the tires and stretch to the trailer frame and strap the implement down.
