You can do a triangle with the binder laying on the floor between the D-rings.

Lift eye bolt on part of the tractor frame. It's of proper strength for the job.

The other end goes on to one of the hoops welded to the side rail on the trailer. They show up better on the first picture. The back is from a shackle on the drawbar.

Thanks for that info. What size and thread pitch did you use?

I think they are 1/2 in. Standard thread but may be machine thread.

I have welded 6 grab hooks on each side of the trailer. Getting the hooks was not easy. I couldn't find them in stock locally so I ordered them from A........n and when they arrived the wrapping was empty. (They were wrapped like fish at the market). Got my money back and reordered from a different source and they actually arrived yesterday.
I weld my hooks on sideways so one person can easily stretch chains as needed. My tractor is still in the shop so I haven't tried it out yet.
