Thinking it would be handy to have something like a 4x6 or 4x8 trailer I could pull behind my Kubota RTV500.

Any suggestions?

I already have a 5x10 7K GVW (~2400lb) Load Trail dump trailer. Hauls the RTV500 or BX2370 nicely.

I had a 4x6 road legal trailer (home made job I found on Craigslist) I used to pull behind my tractor (a Deere 4400 at the time). It was quite handy and I'm sorry I left it in PA when we moved to Vermont.
Is it a good idea? I think so! An ATV is limited to carry capacity. With a UTV, you can carry your tools in the bed and any materials (mulch or whatever) in the trailer.
With an ATV or UTV, I think you'll have to pay attention attention to your tongue weight.

Lowes sells a Carry On small 3.5' x 5' trailer that would work great behind it. I pulled it a lot with my midsize Polaris Ranger. Exact same width. And it's street legal if you want to pull with road vehicle.

I replaced the trailer with a MUTS trailer.

Here's a link to a video I made featuring the Carry On trailer.

I have a 5' X 9' road trailer that I pull around my property with my Polaris 330 Trail Boss.
It is very handy! I can load all tools, material even my generator and go to where I need to work.
At the end of the day I pull it all in my building and shut the door. Next day I fire it up and go.
Starting and stopping on most jobs takes up time and this saves time for me.
