For those that own or use at work, how have they been? Any emissions related issues?

Seeing plenty of low mile trades coming in at good prices, interested in 2500 crew cab 4x4's.

The 2014 - present have a new front suspension and frame, plus are def trucks, so that is my point of interest.

I sold my 07 5.9 in February and ordered a new 17. Only have about 6,000 miles on it so far but have been very pleased. My 07 was trouble free and was a very good truck but with my kids getting bigger I needed a bigger cab. The 17 gets better mileage so far than the 5.9 did, I track every tank in a spreadsheet so it’s very easy to compare. Ride is similar between the 07 2500 and 17 3500 single wheel but the ride of a new 2500 with coil springs is very good. If there are any specific comparisons or questions I’d be happy to answer. This is a picture of my new truck.

Same here. Sold my 07' 5.9 and bought a 16'. I enjoy the newer suspension, and better mileage. Left it bone stock. The only thing I really miss is a pyro gauge I had on my 07.

Thank you. Are they your daily drivers? Have you had many regens?

Yes, it is my daily driver. The miles are low because I travel quite a bit for work so it sits in the garage a lot. It is very difficult to notice a regen. If you watch your instantaneous fuel mileage you notice but I normally have the additional gauges displayed instead. The truck does not behave or perform any different during regen. The def use isn’t bad either, I’m about 1/4 tank remaining so if I stretched it I could probably get to 8,000 miles. I bought two jugs so I’ll probably just fill it up soon. $12 every 7,000 or so miles isn’t bad for def.

Mine is 2 yrs old this month, 21k on the odometer. No regions that I've noticed, broken emergency brake lever replaced by dealer, and Ram emblem on tailgate was replaced. No other issues. Truck on flat road, no cargo, in cruise control @ 64mph I've calculated 27.8 mpg. I usually average 16-17 mpg driving here in the mountains. Towing never more than 11mpg. I kind of miss my 07, but it now resides around the corner, as on of my neighbors bought it, and he lets me visit anytime. Replaced the front bumper.

I daily drive a couple of the company's tow trucks, which are Ram 5500's. We have two 5500 roll backs, and two 5500 recovery winch/hook trucks (wreckers). Theres a 2014 with 155,000 miles, a 2015 with 60,000 miles, and two 2016's with about 77,000 miles on one, and 30,000 miles on the other. For the most part, they have been trouble free, the 2014 needed some ball joints, and tie rods that failed prematurely. A couple of DEF issues replaced under warranty. Not too much hassle...
