2019 Silverado

Agree but with those mini headlights can it be driven at night? :confused3:

That doesn’t mean anything. My 2014 GMC Sierra has big headlights and they may as well be candles they are so bad. Easily the worst headlights on any vehicle I have owned. It’s really the only feature on the truck that is lousy. My BMW has teeny headlights and they are insanely good and bright.

I heard GMC improved the headlight with the model refresh in 2016. Interestingly the Chevy Silverado had different headlights before and after the refresh and they were fine. So it seems like someone at GMC dropped the ball for the 2014-2015 models with those big useless headlights.

that does look good...never understood why they went with squared wheel wells in the first place...maybe if it had square tires...?

I like the "almost round" wheel wells because I don't like the frd toilet seat look. GM went too far with the squared off look of the K2** trucks. I think this new one looks like a ~2000 Silverado, new suburban, and Colorado mixture that really looks good. It will be interesting what the mechanicals will be.

I just wont buy another chevy, no matter what it looks like.

I think this truck looks amazing. I am anxious to hear what the power train choices end up being. I have not liked the 2007.5 or the 2014 redesigns at all but am a huge fan of all previous generations of GM trucks. I am still using a 25 year old 1992 C1500 (owned for 28 years now) and a 2003 GMC 1500 sierra (owned for 14 years now) and just picked up 2005 2500hd that is a project truck.

Doubt I spring for a new one as prices have gone crazy....

I agree, the 07-13 trucks were/are a low quality POS, my 11 is an example of that. The 04 that was traded for the 11 was a superior truck in every way.

Going back to the 67-72 with the round wheel wells, nice touch.

Mt 2011 and my 2013 GMC's were flawless trucks..Never an issue with either. They were better than the 04 I had previously in every way. My 2016 is proving to be every bit as good as the 11 & 13, if not slightly better. I only miss the power of the 6.2 in both of the previous trucks.

The new body style in interesting. I do like the rounded fenders. Takes me a while to acclimate to new designs though.

Glad they are moving away from the angular look. It does seem that the headlights are taking a cue from the F150. I assume this is the Silverado 1500 shown? Hope this carries over into the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. In many ways it looks like they allowed a Corvette designer into the truck design team.
