I’d have probably just used a single strap. It would be easy to bend it like that. I’ve about quit doing that since I pulled the brush guard apart in my tractor.

I think he should have used chain binders with 3/8" chain.;)

I'm guessing, "Driving Without a License"

If she banged into Mom's car, it could be "Reckless Driving", or "Fleeing the Scene of the Accident"

That reminds me of the pic which a TBN member posted a few years ago after picking up his son's new JD pedal tractor... strapped onto the tandem axle trailer because the tike wanted to "Haul it home like Daddy's tractor." :laughing: :thumbsup:

I think in my state the toe cable/recovery cable can not be counted as a tie down. - so no?

I usually chain the front with the winch cable and hook a second loose chain to keep it from rolling off the back of the truck if the winch cable broke. I usually hook a chain on both sides of the wheel lift and run it backwards until it’s tight. The wheel lift has anti backflow hydraulics so that should be as secure as an other way.
