DUMP TRAILER

Hey All, I am looking to buy a dump trailer. What I am looking for ,is one to use with my john deere 790. I would like to have hyd. dump.Has anybody bought one and are they any good? Would I be better off building or buying one? I like to have one that would last. Any help would be great. Barry

EZ-Dumper makes well built self contained dump trailers that come with an electric hydraulic pump. You should be able to get an adapter from your tractor to the trailers wiring plug but they may be the same already, I am not sure. I have a 610 UDT that we use on a regular basis for cleanup on our jobsites and have had no problems with it.

I am looking more for a off- road trailer .I can use the hyd. on the tractor to dump,I don't need electric dump.Thanks Barry

If you want to get your dumper real cheap, watch farm auctions for old grain wagons. They have a single-acting cylinder in them, for dumping out the grain. These are the ones you may have seen, they are galvanized sheet metal, and have a funny shape, like a fat "Y", they are not huge, about right for a compact tractor. Unless you want to haul rocks, they would be heavy enuf.

I have also been looking for a dump trailer and I sure agree with Robert, EZ dumper makes a fine trailer. I can't justify the bucks for the EZ dumper. I have also been eyeing on<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.northerntool.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=47588&prmenbr=6970> this one</A> from Northern, its about 20% or less the price of the EZ dumper. Someone else on the board, I forgot who, has one, maybe they can give you a report on it. Let us know what ever you get, what you think. I'm afraid the Northern may be a case of you get what you pay for. If you know this going in sometimes it can be made to work.
