TYM T330 - next question. I need to clean the air filter. It would appear that the tractor side panel needs to be moved since the wing nut and cover are too close to it to get the lengthy air filter out. Do I REALLY need to remove 6+ bolts??!!?? Seems like bad engineering if this is true......the manual does not mention anything about this other than showing a lovely picture of the tube and filter!

Diane,
The air filter cover should have some type of clamp or spring device to remove the cover. I have taken mine off to look at it without having to remove any bolts.

Raise the top center hood. Then pull up the front part of the side pannel and then pull it forward to remove it. You should then be able to get to the air cleaner easily.

What Pete said, it is the only way. Simple too once you do the side panel a couple of times. Be careful when removing side panel unless you don't mind some scratches.
