So my montana 2734 frame broke into while using the loader. A little over 600 hours and I use the loader alot. I knew this was a weak link all along. I had been planing no building subframe connectors to connect the loader frame to the axle but keep putting it off. I took the loader off, removed the loader mounts and welded the frame back together. One thing for sure, I will now build and install the frame connectors before I put the loader back on. If you have a problem with the hood popping open, loader mounting bolts coming loose, etc. I would tie the front to the back ASAP.

That is unfortunate. Good thing you are handy and not scared about fixing things yourself.

I am trying to picture where you are talking about on the frame though.

Due to same frame as my T 233, I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures too! On a side note, when I changed my oil this fall, I went around and checked all the frame bolts for tightness...was very suprised to find that several on the right side were loose! Mine is a 2010 model with only 140 hours on it. So, be careful out there and check the frame bolts too!

Loose loader (and wheel too!) bolts are not unusual on any brand.. You should check them upon delivery and at the 50 hour service and at 100 hours oil change and every 100 hour thereafter. They should settle down after the 100 hours. but checking at each oil change is a good idea. The bolts take a heck of a beating.

Yes broken along the bolt holes on the right side, and cracked on the left side between the bolts. Easy weld but I know it would be a matter of time before it breaks again without connecting the loader to the axle. I will take a pic of the frame connectors when I build and install them. Probably going to pick up some steel and start this weekend. I still have the old drive shaft. I probably should replace it while I am at it.

7 weeks? Dang, I was lucky, got 6 years before it broke. :( You must have tried to move a mountain. :)
