LOW RPM at Full Throttle TYM 353 HST help

]my 353 HST is now running at about 21-2200 RPM at Full throttle (was about 2800 ??)
the cable is tight - it bottoms out on the engine
i changed the Air and Fuel filters ===No Change

it operates fine -this happened about a week ago .

any ideas ?

I'm not much of a mechanic but could your injectors be clogged? If the fuel and filters are ok, then something must be reducing the fuel.

Could be bad fuel. Did you fill it not long before this happened? Could be air blockage still due to insect nest or such in the air intake system.

Basing my guess on the 233, the governor has low and high idle adjustment screws.
They are on the side of the bump, bottom one is high idle.

Check the rubber fuel lines. Back some years ago was at a farm and the mans Deutz didn't have power and would not rev up like it should. I looked at the fuel lines and there were nylon cable ties holding it from the fuel tank to the filters. One looked tight. I cut the strap and pinched the line in the opposite direction so it would be round again and the tractor rpms picked up. The cable tie was pulled to tight and the hose collapsed inside. Check this over carefully where there is a sharp bend in the line to. It may be a simple fix like that.
Also loosen the fuel cab and give it a try. If that cures it look for a plugged fuel tank vent or a plugged cap vent.
