- 2014 TYM T353HST
Got a problem with my T353 HST that just showed up yesterday. I had to drive my tractor back and forth between my house and my parents' house, a distance of about 1/2 mile. Did this three times, round trip. I was in high gear and pretty much pedal to the floor. At the beginning of the return trip, I found that the forward pedal was not returning to center like it should, and of course neither was the reverse pedal. I would be moving along at pretty much any speed, from a slow crawl to full-out max speed, at any RPM, and I would take my foot off the pedal and I would keep right on moving. The only way to stop would be to tap the other pedal to force both of them to return to center, and the tractor did not like that very much. I did have to use the tractor a bit more for the day, and I noticed that as the day wore on, the reverse pedal seemed to go back to normal (i.e. return to center immediately) but the forward pedal would still stick. Enough to make working with the machine somewhat dangerous.
I should also add that yesterday was the first time in over a year that I had used the rear PTO. I hooked up my post-hole auger to dig a hole for a new mailbox post. I am wondering if that might have had anything to do with it?
I would like some help on what I should be looking for to fix this issue, and if anyone else has experienced this? My local TYM dealer is gone, packed up shop and either moved or sold out, and the nearest dealer is about 70 miles from me and rather inconveniently located.
