It is a shame how much good lumber is burned or buried...
Are you salvaging any hemlock?...they have been devastated by the wooly adelgid
We have sawn some but they are hard to recover in steep terrain...

I got a few logs over the summer from an urban clearing, they are hard to find, and everyone wants Hemlock for barns/fences etc. The ones I got are small but will make great 8x8 post for a Timber Frame I am planning this fall.
