Everlast Welders - Welders and Plasma Cutters by Everlast

I purchased a cheap China 6" bench grinder at my local hardware store for like $60 and a fine 100 grit wheel which I'm dedicating to grinding tungsten. This worked fine, I chucked the tungsten in a cordless drill and was able to grind a pretty smooth tip. Dang but the tungsten gets hot with just a bit of grinding.

One odd issue with the Everlast torch, a WP20, a new tungsten is about 1/2 an inch too long for the torch I had to snap off one end.

Do they give you a stubby cap with the torch? On mine I always use the stubby cap and cut the tungstens in half. No waste.

Mark, I have the Everlast I MIG 200.

A nut on the regulator broke. See pics. Where can I get a replacement? 1437581286407-417020482.jpg1437581137397-1307116435.jpg

Ok. Good. Glad you got going. I was going to suggest looking at a welding supplier locally as the most expedient solution since I think those are standard type connections. (or they were).

Thanks. It was a standard fitting. Simple trip to the local auto parts store. No biggie.

How much tungsten do you grind that its worth getting a grinder like that for it?
