Lincoln 250 welder arc welder

I may not have been around welders forever, but I have seen a bunch, and this is a new one to me.

Now if you want a machine that will run everybody away because of the noise, these will do it!
The arc is about the same on both machines, but I'd take the SAE anytime, more control over the puddle.

So what is it? Just a DC stick welder? What is the noise issue?

Yep, bare bones DC stick machine, with a fantastic arc. Great little Tig machine also.
Far as the noise, lets just say I've never seen anyone go home for the night with one still running. :laughing:

They basically have a generator head like an SA-200 would, but with an electric motor spinning it, not a gas engine.

They often come with those NICE three-wheel carts. I'd keep that even if I sold off the welder.

Spins your electric meter in a blurr. Welds like nothing else out there. Plug it in and listen to it b4 you buy. It's a Howler..

No intention to buy it, just had never seen anything like it before and was curious. It's 3-phase anyways, which is why the guy is selling it. He thought it was 1-ph.
