Actually they are using them in nukes, very convenient. The little Max will run 6010 under some conditions where the operator is simply dragging it around without too much manipulation. The 6011 is so much more stable it allows for big whips, great for light material or filling gaps cracks and to tell the truth like it as well as 10 anyway.Not too many people would be trying to do serious pipe welding in a nuclear plant

I have had one for years (1st generation), use it more for TIG work but have run 6011 & 7018 without any issues.
