Yes, Oleg gave me a very good deal on the 250P.
It was slightly over my initial budget, but, I don't think I will
ever out grow this machine.

Maybe those Chinese welders are a good deal after all. You get free upgrade when the first one doesn't work.:thumbsup:

I stayed silent throughout all this. I thought the better option was to find a used name brand. But there is a strong current to let the Chinese brands have some rope in this forum. If you were not a notable poster here, I doubt you would have got the same attention. Reality is a beoytch. I realize that some folks like Mark try to make customer service a strong point, but if the product is so weak that it is DOA, then you have a bigger problem. I've watched too many of these threads here and elsewhere to be able to recommend Longevity or Everlast stuff. The hit ratio is not good enough to risk big bucks on it, IMHO. Mark is a good guy and helps out a lot, but the product is not just not up to US standards yet. I'm sure I will get flayed for this, but tell me it isn't actually true?
