Did the LN25 have a different gun on it? 1/16 or larger liner in the gun right? Many use knurled drive rolls for cored wire.

Same gun on both feeders, (K-126). Serrated drives rolls in both feeders too.

Don't use the ones with lube on them! An ear plug works just as good. ;)

Reason I don't like the pads with lube on them is, all Mig wires flake as they go through the drive rolls. The lube has a tendency to glue the flakes together, and can really gum things up inside the liner.
Innershield wire has a graphite lube on it, when the wire goes through the serrated drive rolls it really makes a big mess. :mur:

The wire I use does not have a coating on it=bare wire.
It is ESAB.

Hahaa. I know. Hard to believe that the drive rolls could be worn though. Not the Outlet guide right? Sorry. :)

No, brand new drive rolls, guide plates, and brass bushing for the K-126 gun on the LF-72 feeder. Funny it feeds all other wires fine. Well up to .045"! :confused3:

A couple of pictures of the cart work today.
I welded on 4 nuts that the welder will rest on at each corner.
