tomorrow. Anyway the 305 is a awsome machine, cant say enough about her. Crisp arc and just a beauty machine to work with. Ill do a full report on her once I tweak with it but just figured I would share the first project. Loving it already! :D

Wait until you get that LN-25, and see what she'll do on CV.:cool2: I just won an LN-25 on ebay for my buddy Jack, who also has a 305-G.

Awsome shield, I cant wait to get mine! Few weeks hopefully. Gonna mess with that table in a bit, just gotta put some pads on the legs and maybe some paint on the steel parts. Its gonna stay outside so may as well give it some protection.

Talk about bucks up. That 1/2" stainless must be worth a few bucks. 305G's are a very good machine. Check your oil every day. My buddy's on his second 305G and it was using oil for about the first 400 hours. I think after he burned some big rods and got it broken in, it stopped using oil. It's also a good idea to crank it all the way up and burn a few big rods every once in awhile to get rid of excess carbon. Try the downhand pipe mode. Apparently it makes a different sounding arc burning 6010.

I scored on the plate, I got that for $200, I just had to drive 160mi to pick it up. Thanks for the heads up on the other stuff, will definately keep tabs on that. Im also curious myself to try that down hill pipe mode, I will look into it today. Thanks bud!

Got a pretty good deal, $720.00. Guy is suppose to drop it off Wednesday morning so I can take it for a test drive. He ask if I had a welder where I could try the LN-25 out!

Homerun there shield! Yeah funny stuff, I had a neighbor staring at my anvil friday night and he asked me, tell me exactly what you would use this for :0 Hes a farmer and I said tell me exactly what you would use a tractor for. Then he sipped his beer and spit his dip on my basement floor. I told him dont EVER do that again, and I was glad he didnt have to take a crap!
