Oh my gosh, I made a lighthearted comment about bad luck, trying to get a chuckle from our tractor buddies and you went and got all serious on me.
I understood your lighthearted irony. ... It does seem that way sometimes with random events. - Certainly funny in a sardonic way.

Been there, done that:eek:! The guy who taught me how to heat shrink, use to pull his hair out when he was teaching me:laughing:. He worked in the crew that did the beams for the Seattle Space Needle.

The guy's name wasn't Holt was it? He was a professor in Mechanical Engineering at the UW and was an expert in flame-straightening. He did a lot of private consulting and as I recall, his dad literally wrote the book on flame-straightening/bending.

No. Believe it or not his name is Kirk Blow. The best welder I have ever worked around. He could Tig weld faster than I could stick weld.:shocked:
