I'll second the Miller Bobcat. I have one. Mine's a model 250NT. 10,000 watts, 20HP. I bought it factory reconditioned from a dealer. Only had 19 hours when I got it. I bolted it to a second shipping pallet with 8" wheels for ease of moving around. I have other welders in the garage so main use of the NT is for backup house power. It will run the whole house including A/C.

Mine usually just sits in the garage for backup power.

I love my 305G. Thanks to Terry's photo's, I spent today welding up a skid/pallet similar to his. I do have to send mine in next week to repair an oil leak on the Kohler engine, but that's no fault of Lincoln. It's a really easy welder to use and runs a great arc.

I've got an older Lincoln 225 Weldnpower.
AC/DC up to 225 amps, 110/220 volt power outlets. Built and fixed a lot of stuff with that machine.
Not sure what the duty cycle is as I wear out before the machine does.
