When more than one dealer has been mentioned, it sure would be nice if you would quote the post the you're referring to or at least point it out in your post. I think that's what happened here. One replied about an importer of non-refurbed tractors and then the next post was about a recon importer. It's hard to keep track of what dealer/tractor is being talked about that way.

Ken;

I live in Blythewood and I bought my tractor from a now out of business person in Edgefield. I like my Yanmar, but a person needs to assume that he/she is going to have to do some work on these tractors and be able to do it. I like repairing and I have had some fun and not so fun times rebuilding my 1300D, to where it is a real winner now. I have found Danny Parker in Alabama to be the most knowledgeable about Yanmar tractors and has real fast service shipping parts.

I notice that there is an ad in the "South Carolina Market Bulletin" (bulletin of SC Ag Dept) for a Yanmar tractor that reads: "Yanmar Tractor 25 hp, dsl, w/bush hog, dirtt scoop $3500.00obo--Rose Kaplan, Marion, 843-362-1024"

Worth calling about, I suspect. May be a sleeper.

Kindest Regards;
Steve

With all due respect to you Inspector re read post 9 13 15 and you will see the incorrect information and then the correction. I do understand the confusion you speak of and if I were not a friend of Steve's I too would need a scorecard to have been able to follow it all.

[quote=Smoody;1755391]Who are you referring to? Rinehart

You purchased a "FULLY REBUILT MACHINE" but there is a crack in the radiator and a leaking injector...

"they work on them in house" How did they miss those 'small' issues?

He was talking about Spalding, not Rinehart. I bought a F235 from Rinehart a number of years ago and have not had any problems, except some damage due to my own negligence and in those John from Rinehart was very helpful in helping me obtain repair parts.

What's up Steve

Are you startin to slow down alittle now it's pretty much end of the Season.
Was on craigs list yesterday and seen the Parts add and the 2500 and Tiller NICE from the looks of it.I will upgrade one of these days but the 2000 is still doing great that would be one to look at.Also would you have any parts for a RS1400 I would like replace to some body parts and the rear wheels are missing on mine if anything comes available PM me.Don't need anything for the Tractor I was able to replace the axle seal didn't do it in record time but did it kind of felt good to still be able to do something again.

Hope everythings going good for your and let me know on the tiller parts.

Carey
