Default Hydraulic Pump---YM2020

The hydraulic pump on my 2020 has started to squeel at high RPMs. It's not starving because I heard that sound when I first bought it and the screen was stopped up. This is a different sound. It only does it when the pump is not loaded. When you load it by moving the loader or 3PH it is quiet.

Are these rebuildable, if so where could I get parts?

Thanks

They are not really rebuildable. Only the internal orings & seal are available but that does not sound like your problem since it only does it when NOT under load. Do you notice any lack of lifting power?

Still has plenty of lifting power but did notice the smell of "hot" hydraulic fluid when bush hogging today. Just have a feeling it might be a bushing or bearing. (Dont have a parts breakdown for it)

I would make sure the servicing lock valve is not partly closed and check the screen again.

they all have them go to hoyes page. He is around 325 if i think on new and LMTC is like 275. I found one on ebay for like 235 if you search ebay for yanmar hydraulic it should come up, its free shipping there too. Hoyes used parts are generally half of the new price so if hes 325 new expect around 175 used.

Is the noise all the time or when cold? Maybe the fluid needs to warm up? just a thought.

Our new pump for that model is $373 but it is a GENUINE Japanese original equipment pump. I should also have a good used one for $185 . We can also get the made in Turkey pump for the same $275 if that is what you want.

Does it squeel when you max out the cylinder travel and let it go into relief?

If the FEL is plumbed in series with 3ph, I would by-pass it to eliminate it as source of blockage, which sounds like what you have.
