I am the proud owner of a Yanmar YM2000. It has been a great little tractor
but I think my injector pump has gone south on me. There is fuel going into
the pump but even with the lines off nothing comes out. Are these pumps
rebuildable? I am an ASE certified auto tech that has rebuilt injector pumps
on G.M. diesel engines but I can't find any information on these pumps.
Even if I had an exploded view of the pump to see how it works

I just saw one on Ebay.

But, Buyer Beware!!! A couple of years go someone was looking for a YM2000 block and I helpfully suggested an ebay auction for a tractor that had rolled over along with the trailer it was tied down to. I feel terrible - the buyer discovered that engine was worn out junk even before it was rolled and he ended up with basically nothing.

Again, buyer beware! There's no telling if the injector pump was what caused this present ebay engine to be parted out. Its present owner might not even know.

Since that is a precision component, I think I would just buy one from Hoye or somebody where you know what you are getting.

I can supply a new pump for probably less than what it would cost to have one rebuilt. I also have used ones.
