Yanmar 3000 parking brake
Proud new owner of a Yanmar 3000 with a bonehead question. Does this thing have a parking brake? If so, where is it?

Re: Yanmar 3000 parking brake
I think it has a little lever that flips over and locks the two brake pedals together. Then there should be another little lever right down there by the pedals that locks the pedals down when your push them. That is as good as it gets. You need to have your pedals adjusted so when they make contact with the brakes the pedals will be the same height. I normally use a gear or lower an implement rather than locking the brakes but that's just my preference.

Good grief. You both are right. I found it. I've looked at that particular lever plenty of times. For some reason I thought that lever was part of that little throttle pedal. Thank you for the help.
