Comparison Yanmar YM 180 D - John Deere cousin model

Morning Folks;

I finally picked up 1989 YM 180 D; very happy to have her and spent Sunday afternoon taking things apart and checking things out. I have many little questions ... newby with some back yard mechanical knowledge ...

One question; I noticed that Yanmar is the manufacturer of John Deere tractors;

Anyone know what the equivlant model to the 1989 YM 180 D in John Deere?

Doesn't really work that way. There may be models that has similar sizes, but parts won't interchange most likley.

John Deere 755 might be a kissing cousin.

750 is closest to 180. Yanmar Deere's ending with 0 are gear shift. Yanmar Deere's ending with 5 are hydrostatic.

750 has the 3t80 engine, same as my ym2002. Ym180 has 3t72ha, same as 755. The 750 also has the same knuckle seals as my my2002. I bought them from John Deere. Not saying the 755 and 180 are the same. I don't think any are perfect matches. Just sort of matching engines. They probably aren't exactly the same either.
